Hey was at your presentation on nov8 and i just wanted to saw that you guys are really cool and that i had a lot of fun playing the earth harp. Thanks for showing us all your cool instruments!
MASS was absolutely breath taking. My husband and I saw them in Corpus Christi, Texas. We were in complete amazement during the entire concert. It brought tears to my eyes to witness something made by a man, William Close, able to create such unique, remarkable sounds. This is definitely a MUST see in one’s lifetime. William’s entire team played brilliantly from the Drum Orb, Percussion Jacket, Aquatar, Wing harp and Drumbrella, as well as his vocalist Onyay they were all marvelous. Their music genre ranged from Beethoven to Lynyrd Skynyrd, something for everyone. I am certain they have a great behind the scene group as well to be able to create such a phenomenon. BRAVO to MASS!
William, Earth Harp is the most spectacular instrument. We watched you last night AGT May14th. As a guitar player, I fiddled with trying to make odd sounds with the strings since I was 5, and my band played for many years on the road. You have my utmost respect. It was genius to use the room as the sound from an f-hole in a guitar. I pray that you receive much praise and also enough income to at least live on. Bro, you were awesome. guitarz54@yahoo.com

I’ve never been so inspired in my life, as I was after seeing you on my television on AGT. You left me awestruck, in all seriousness. I’ve played piano for almost seven years, (still learning) and have been under many musical instructors. None of them though, have had what I feel is pure musical genius. And thats what I feel your music and talent is..pure, beautiful genius.

Wow…. For 57 years my fingers have drawn music from strings stretched across wooden frames of one sort or another , but I have never witnessed something on the scale of your performance on the Earth Harp . How do you control pitch on the Harp? And how
does the resonance occur so quickly in such long strings ? Is the sound we hear produced in an acoustic chamber and then electro-

William, my Dad and I are rooting for you on America’s Got Talent! You blew us away in your initial audition round but the other night was simply amazing! Reign Over Me is my all time favorite Who song and your rendition literally gave me chills! I know one thing, I would totally pay good money to come see you in concert and I can’t wait for the day I turn on my local PBS station and there you are! You, my friend have a truly God given talent! The instruments you have created are awe inspiring. I can’t stop talking about you! I would like to know if electronics are involved in the earth harp performance. Are looping methods used to produce multiple simultaneous notes, chords, sequences? Or is it all performed live by William? I would expect that a single string stretched between two points would only produce a single note without the aid of a ‘fret’. Is the right hand moving along a string acts as a ‘fret’ akin to slide on a guitar? Or is the left hand used to change a particular string tension and thus the note? I would love to see a video where we can see William play a simple song to illustrate the technique. In any event I think it is fantastic and deserves a venue in Vegas. I love it.
My mother saw you perform on AGT on Monday Night, she told me I had to see it. I pulled it up on the internet, and I am completely and totally mesmorized by the sound of your incredible Earth Harp. The entire performance was unlike anything I have ever seen before. The drummers, the singer, and you on that incredible instrument. Good luck with AGT, but even if you don’t win it. You have already made it. Hundreds of thousands of view on youtube. Sometimes the people that win don’t do very well. Look at Jackie Evancho, she placed second. Look at Susan Boyle from Brittains Got Talent. Not winning may be a blessing in disguise, you would not be locked into a contract. I can tell you one thing, you are a world class act, and I would pay any amount of money to see this live as Howie said. It is incredible on television. I can only imagine what this would sound like in a live performance. And I will see you live, whether you win the show or not, because you have already won. The exposure has opened the door for you. Thank you for sharing your gift with America.
